Throughout your graduate journey we will give you the opportunity to test and grow both your technical and personal skills. We will provide support through a formal Global Graduate Development Program and offer mentoring as you work on real projects, solving real problems and delivering real change. We aim to match your capabilities and aspirations to our strategic and operational needs – ensuring a thriving business for us and a fulfilling career for you.

As part of the formal Development Programme you will be part of a global network of graduates from around the world. This community will help you to navigate the business and broaden your network across GKN Aerospace. Each cohort of graduates will complete five structured development weeks together, starting with a 2 week global on-boarding event, continuing with 3 further weeks of development and learning throughout the programme. These will help progress you from being an individual contributor towards leading others, preparing you for potential management roles at the end of the scheme and beyond. Additional sessions, such as Q&As with senior business leaders and Peer to Peer learning events are held frequently in-between these weeks and a formal global graduation will be a celebration of completing the scheme and moving into a full time role within the business.

We are proud of our Graduate community and as part of the scheme call upon them to act as ambassadors for the organisation at various global air shows and corporate functions, while also engaging future talent at STEM and early careers events.
